GENERAL DYNAMICS F-16C/D FIGHTING FALCON (VIPER)

Probably the longest-running, single project I have worked on... I created the original version of this model in 2013, upgraded it in 2014, again in 2015/2016, then in 2018, and then one more time in 2024. Each upgrade was a mix of improving the model and textures/shaders. All told I probably have several thousand hours in this project alone.

The original model was about what you would expect from a 1/72 scale plastic model, but by the time I finished the final revision, it was as close to accurate/realistic as I could get with my skill set at the time.

The first artwork I ever donated to the United States Air Force. Currently a 3'x2' oil print hangs in the 20th Fighter Wing HQ, at Shaw AFB, outside of the Wing Commander's office.

The original image I was going to donate to the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw, but due to a computer crash, lost the 3D files, so I had to start again.

A contracted piece of artwork done for a Major I worked with, who ordered it as a retirement gift for his roommate at the United States Air Force Academy and life-long best friend, who was a classic truck lover and ranch kid.

A year later, I modified the previous image to be an image for the 20th Fighter Wing First Sergeant Council's Lithograph for First Sergeant's that left Shaw, heading to other bases at the end of their assignment there.
